Tudor House & Garden is Southampton's oldest museum, revealing over 800 years of history in one location at the heart of the Old Town. The museum is housed in a timber-framed building dating back to the late 15th century, with the adjacent King John’s Palace, a Norman house, dating back even further. Tudor House offers visitors of all ages a unique and atmospheric insight into the lives and times of its residents and the history of Southampton itself. Tudor House & Garden provides family-friendly activities, interactive technology, and fascinating displays. The venue is also available for hire for weddings, ceremonies, conferences, and corporate events. The museum features a shop and café with locally produced food.
