The Architect

About

The Architect is located within The Empire Hotel in Bath, a Grade 2 listed building designed in 1901 by Major Charles Edward Davis. The building overlooks Pulteney Bridge and the Abbey, offering a terrace for viewing. Inside, patrons will find a bar stocked with wines, spirits, and local ales, as well as a large, high-ceilinged room with booths and tables suitable for both large and intimate gatherings. A more private table is also available for special occasions. The establishment offers a menu of classic British dishes with international influences, using fresh, quality ingredients. The Architect is accredited by Coeliac UK and has processes in place to serve gluten-free food safely. They also display a commitment to operating safely with AA and VisitEngland - Visitor Ready accreditation. The restaurant is also recognized by The Sustainable Restaurant Association's Food Made Good Standard.
